\u201cIdol Philippines\u201d season 2 alum Misha De Leon breathes new life into Himig Handog songs in her debut extended play (EP), \u201cBetween Sighs<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m truly overwhelmed and thankful for the support people have shown for my music. I\u2019m so grateful for the entire StarPop team for the love, time, and energy they poured into helping me with this EP,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The six-track EP showcases Misha\u2019s reinterpretations of \u201cTrue Love,\u201d composed by Mike & Noah; \u201cSugarol,\u201d composed by John Sabili; \u201cWow Na Feelings,\u201d composed by Karlo Zabala; \u201cSa\u2019yong Mundo,\u201d composed by Joan Da and LJ Manzano; \u201cOut,\u201d composed by Erica Sabalboro; and \u201cNyebe,\u201d composed by Aries Sales. StarPop label head Roque \u201cRox\u201d Santos handled the record\u2019s production.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the key track, \u201cSa\u2019yong Mundo,\u201d landed on Spotify\u2019s New Music Friday Philippines and Fresh Finds Philippines playlists.<\/p>\n

Misha began as a contestant in \u201cThe Voice Kids Philippines\u201d season 3, where she was coached by Sharon Cuneta. She also joined \u201cIdol Philippines\u201d season 2, earning praise for her standout performances of \u201cOo\u201d and \u201cSign of the Times.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2023, she released her debut single, \u201cDamdamin,\u201d which has since garnered over 200,000 streams on Spotify. She followed this with the releases of \u201cHanging\u201d and \u201cEquilibrium,\u201d further showcasing her distinct sound and artistry.<\/p>\n

Beyond her solo work, Misha also lent her voice to notable soundtracks, including \u201cDito Ba\u201d from the film \u201cA Very Good Girl\u201d and \u201cGising Gising\u201d from the series \u201cIt\u2019s Okay Not To Be Okay.\u201d<\/p>\n
